Thursday 9/26 - Parent Meeting 6:30pm
Friday 9/27 - Pep Assembly during 7/8th Period (Band wears, show shirt)
Football Game w/8th Graders 5:30 Meet Time at Field of Dreams "Full Uniform"
Saturday 9/28 - The Whole Enchilada Parade 9:00am Meet
Time - Staging Area is the lots by the softball fields off of Walnut. Enter from Triviz, Craigs, Sumner, McCrae. Drop off and your ride must drive out. The end of the parade is at Apodaca Park off of Solano. Plan to pick up in the business area off of Madrid. Or if you make arrangements to carpool, the parking staff will let you park in the park parking lot. You must carpool at least 3 students in order to park there. Honor System please. The only band vehicle allowed in the parking lot will be the band trailer. "O hat" No gloves or gauntlets
Monday 9/30 - Night Rehearsal with our Drill Designer David Hurd
Tuesday 10/1 - Night Rehearsal with UNM Staff
Wednesday 10/2 - District Competition in Deming 3:00pm Departure Time, 8:40pm Performance Time
Thursday 10/3 - No Zero Hour "more details to come"

Class Fees and Financial Responsibilities
As you know every good program requires a financial responsibility in order to maintain success. Students of the band are the ambassadors of the entire Oñate High School. In order to function as a program, we must require a financial responsibility. There are 3 basic fees that your child will be responsible for throughout the year. We divide them this way for ease of understanding.
Student Necessities-Shirts, Hats, Shoes etc. meaning that if
they wear it, they buy it. These funds cannot be fundraised.
Class Fees-are established to help fund the general budget of the band. These fees are for music, staff, transportation, equipment, materials, etc.
Fundraised Monies-every student is expected to fundraise above and beyond in order to help support the general fund of the band. The more we fundraise the more we can do as a group, which betters the experience for the entire band.

11:30 Watch Drill Video, Plan for Next Week etc
Mon and Tue July 29-30 8:30-5:30
8:30-11:30 Full Band Outside Marching Rehearsal
1:00-2:30 Brass Family Rehearsal, WW, Perc, CG Sectionals
2:30-3:30 WW Family Rehearsal, Brass, Perc, CG Sectionals (Brass Sectionals are low and slow for chops)
3:45-5:30 Full Band Inside Music Rehearsal
Wed and Thur July 31 Aug 1 8:30-8:30
Same as above
5:30 Dinner Break
6:30-8:30 Full Band Outside Marching Rehearsal
Fri Aug 2 8:30-5:30
Same as Monday and Tuesday
Possible evening rehearsal depending how camp is coming together. Already scheduled previously but we will see.

Monday, August 5th - LUNCH - Sonic hamburger
1 hamburger, chips, fruit, cookie & drink $5 (if they want 2 hamburgers - $6)
